By the time she was 10, Mali needed a second passport book because the first one was filled up.  She’s been fortunate to have spent much of her childhood traveling and living overseas.  Her favorite memories include arriving in Venice by train, seeing a castle lit up at night in the German countryside and spending a hot summer in Rome.  Because of these experiences, Mali’s worldview is expansive, emphatic and perpetually curious.

As an English creative writing major at Queens College, Mali was always interested in economics but couldn’t have envisioned how well a career in financial services would suit her.  She’s worked in the private client groups at Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch, institutional sales at DLJ and managed teams at Ameriprise and multiple independent advisory practices.  Having broad exposure to different sides of financial services combined with hands on experience has made Mali a passionate believer in delivering the very best to clients and the need to constantly grow and learn.  Mali has been working with Longwave in a consulting capacity for several years and is thrilled to now formally join the team.  She looks forward to bringing out the best in each team member in order to deliver a world class client experience.

Mali loves contemporary art in Chelsea galleries, sunsets at Hudson River Park, Pilates, reading, tacos, has a Mad Men quote for every situation and having seen the much of the world, believes there’s no place like New York City.
