From the time she was a year old until college, Mali was privileged to travel extensively with her family. It made the world seem both vast and very intimate and that combination of curiosity and empathy guides her worldview today. While languages, food and culture can change with time zones, our deepest aspirations are universal. Her favorite memories include her first sighting of Venice, standing on a mountaintop in St. Moritz and a summer spent in Rome.

As a creative writing major who won awards for playwriting, business and economics seemed like an unusual choice, but both share the same DNA of creating worlds that rely on communicating ideas clearly and building with vision. She's worked across the private client and institutional sides of the industry, helping multiple advisory practices scale and thrive.

Mali and Nathan joined forces over a decade ago, building Longwave with intentionality and purpose. Her mission is to unlock each team member's true potential to ensure that Longwave's clients receive an extraordinary experience. She's particularly proud to lead the firm's 1% for the Planet initiative, forging partnerships with organizations that share Longwave's commitment to leaving the world better than we found it.

Mali is a big reader, loves spending afternoons in museums, visiting the beach any time of year and having a great conversation over a delicious meal. Having seen extraordinary parts of the world, she still believes there’s no place like New York City.
