Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Kaelyn knew from an early age that she wanted a career serving others. Growing up, she enjoyed volunteering with her mom at Special Olympics and finding ways to advocate on behalf of individuals of all abilities. Having spent time competing in the world of dance, Miss North Carolina pageant and school sports, she learned the importance of time management and the drive to be successful.
After making a deal with her dad, she took a personal finance class in college and quickly became passionate about this new way to serve others by spreading financial literacy. She believes in empowering to educate others to ultimately lead to a life of financial freedom. This is what lead Kaelyn to obtain her Master’s degree in Family Financial Planning and Counseling from the University of Alabama. Since graduating, she’s worked at Vanguard and RIA’s. She is excited to continue her journey at Longwave. When Kaelyn is not at work, she teaches at Pure Barre to stay active, spends time with her family at the beach and cheers on Alabama football! Kaelyn is eager to bring her southern hospitality to Longwave.
