Lianna is a native New Yorker, whose determination has been shaped by her fast-paced environment. By believing that hard work will lead to great success, she prides herself in being a full-time college student, while also pursuing her professional career. As an only child from a supportive Latino family, Lianna continues to strive to make them proud.
With a strong desire to help others in her career, Lianna was drawn to a career in the legal industry. After obtaining an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Paralegal Studies, she realized there were a variety of career paths that could allow her to help others. Upon pursuing her Bachelor’s in Corporate Communications at Baruch College and working her way to becoming President of the Transfer Student Organization, her passion for leading and helping others greatly expanded. The financial industry requires strong interpersonal and leadership qualities in order to acquire and maintain clients, skills which she has developed during her time at Baruch and hopes to continue to improve. Her unique transition from the legal industry to the financial world has largely been driven by this desire to improve her relational work skills and to learn more about herself on her journey in the corporate world.
Being from New York City and growing up on urban music and Latin culture, diversity has shaped the lens in which Lianna experiences the world. Ever since she was a little girl, she enjoyed visiting her mother’s office and dressing in professional attire. As an adult she enjoys traveling to Aruba, Chile, and Mexico to experience new cultures and desserts, as she has a sweet tooth. In her free time, Lianna loves to watch Marvel shows, spend time with her loved ones, and eat chocolate. She looks forward to growing alongside others as she continues to strive towards her personal definition of success.
